I heard you say
I love...
and then i hit the off button
i didnt want to hear
the rest of that sentence
knowing it was a lie
I`ve asked so many times
for you to just quit saying it
but you wont
either because you like hurting me
or somehow you actually believe it
for the past few months
i`ve noticed something
the smile i use to hear
in your voice is
noticably absent
the same way that goofy grin
that always found its way to my face
at the sound of your hello
has disapeared
the grin i never even
realized was there
until i glimsed
in the mirror
then itd just grow bigger because
I knew you were finally mine
but your not
Are you?
you`ve proved that
so this time
Please
just hang up
dont try your call again
