money troubles again i saw you last night with a
with a cigarette in your hand
remembering watching you fall into the street
that one last moment you smiled before your life was taken from you
i never really had a chance to say goodbyenever really knew were i was going
but i know somewhere its snowing your face is glowing
watching over me again
i take out this knife
looking upward i feel a chill
dig thru my pockets and take my pills
hands are shaking violently
i'm just a sinister poet who lost his edge
lost my love for the world
lost the love that was just a memory
in the distance thunder overhead
i stand there in the rain crying over your grave
knive so sharp i stab my heart
until it bleeds
memories flash through my head of the life i once had
but though i'm with you now
hand in hand with the girl that died
a center piece framed in gold
our love is engraved in stone
in a shrine of what was so bold now we are together and we'll grow old
