I miss you

My heart grows weary waiting
Pretty soon it'll dissipate into supernovas
like millions of star that are scattered
Up in the night sky

-It remembers me of your silky black hair
slipping through my fingers like you did-

Because maybe you'll see them
Even if you're on
The other side of the world
I hope I will be able to feel you

-It'll believe it'll happen when you
and i are staring at it as an ocean-

To speak on invisible telephone wires
spanning through pulses
Of time and earth and love
Emptying every drop of my soul

-I'll give anything to gear the
clockwork of time backwards baby-

And remembering every little stuff
That brought some little more smiles
Like flowers wilting in reverse
To see the petals form a ghost of a flower

-I would love it if it happened on a
rainy november when we walked hand-in-hand-

I tip my bottle of wine

And drops fall unto my shattered wine-glass

I wish they were...

...you...

All of my favorite lines've been quoted and judged... and this entire piece broke my heart in several places - wonderful, and amazing. It's difficult for me to feel through words these days, and you hit me square in the chest. This is an impeccable write.

"I'll give anything to gear the clockwork of time backwards baby" Stunning; absolutely gorgeous. I love the almost Blues (as in music) & the pulsing passion in the poetry of the heart. Faraway, so close. Love the title; it's the supernova of the poem...

stunning images.. with a quiet, lovely, lonely feeling. some lines made me gasp as you drew innocence and yearning together. to feel at your depth, and envision these emotions as art is quite exquisite.

"I wish they were...you..." *sighs* You've captured a moment in time, freeze-framing the world so it can revolve around you and see what you feel...and my, I feel it with you. Excellent. ~*Beth*~
