I am dark and twisted,
I am soft and innocent,
I am all you wish I could be and more....
I am nothing.

When I crawl beneath your feet,
And beg for attention....
Any sign of life....
Will you see me then...?

I've been waiting, for you I think...
What do you see..?
When you gaze at the shattered remains of me?

Do you see my soul?
Laid out for you to do as you please?
Do you see me now...
Now that time has run out...?

I waited too long....
