in my darkest dreams i see you
in my sweetest prayers i hear
in my lurking thoughts i feel you
though you were never there
and in my deepest words i knew you
though no one was there to hear
but through all this i found you
maybe i brought you there
in my nightmares i called you
in my dreams you came to me
and now through all the sorrow
you finally came to be
and now i wait for your name
silently for you to come
nothing feels the same
all the joy that this came from
and ever unpatiently we wait for your arrival
pray for all our patience
and our minds survival
my baby, we can't wait till you come home
