[I Freeze.]
Her cold stare sends
chills through the air.
I see my breathe
float toward the sky.
Her stare reflects my
the wrongs I
have committed.
[I Struggle.]
The demons in her looks
force me to the ground.
The burden of my conscience
pushes me further down.
I can not stand the weight
of her glare.
[I choke.]
The words stuck
in my mind like
the vice like grip of her eyes
focused in my failure.
I try to tell her
the wrongs I committed.
I cannot give her the
assurance she demands.
[I die.]
The demons in her eyes
demand my demise.
Turning to stone from
the eyes of Medusa,
would be a welcome release.
She watches as I am lowered
to the ground the last time.
