I see you laughing. All
I know is that my suffering
is not there for your enjoyment.
I stand here hiding the horrible
fantasy.

[I see your face.]

I feel your contempt. My morals
hit the ground and shatter.
Thousand shards of my soul
reflecting the light of my pain,
highlighting your face.

[All I want to do is smash it.]

Give you a taste of my torment.
Vengence served with a crazy
swing. Broken bones break through
where your smile taunted me.

[With a sledge hammer]

I will walk away with
a smile, highlighting
your fate.

Nice and strong, bitterness turned revenge...YAY. I love the descriptive interjections...a poem in themselves.

Ooooooh, I like this...the "I still see you everywhere, but I'm not sure I want to anymore" feeling, wanting to reach out and strangle air if that's what it takes to make the memories disappear. Excellent piece. ~*Beth*~
