"Sheep." by lstdarkness

This is the end.

Capture my words for
all time on paper. Power of the
pen is only destroyed by those
with fire too bad nobody is left to
read...

My words will not change the
world, my words will not turn the
masses away from their iPods
and quick fix "reality" entertainment,
herion for the couch generation.

This poem will not make them,
pull out their ear buds to allow them
to hear the beauty in the traffic or the
birds song.

Communication is dead.
Text messages and IMs is the
new word on the street. LOLs and BRB
had killed the beauty of the written word.

So keep plugging away uSheep, forget
how to write, forget how to read and live
your life how they want you to be.

nice, you've captured time so perfectly, this is life and no matter how hard we try "sheep" will always follow the newest gadjets or fashion trends. but it is up to us to not follow but to lead, but you used "U" instead of "you" at the end, kind of takes

Nice. This poem has a great meaning that is expressed well. Good work.
