As I sit here and think back I see a time of happiness and utter bliss.
Perfection comes to mind.
A time, short in it’s span, but forever burned into my memory.
Perhaps best described as the calm before the storm.
The calm being the time she held me close and brought me peace and strength.
The storm being the aftermath of her departure from my arms.
An entire month of torment.
Seems like an eternity inside a day.
Pain as fresh as the first hour, and emotions as old as my bones.
Has it really been 4 weeks?
Time blurs into a pool of emotions, memories, and words.
Will it ever end?
Only the blur of time will ever tell…
