"Love As A Flower" by Ghost One

A seed is planted...

Generally in the form of attraction or the desire to no longer be alone.

From this seed grows feelings...

Physical attraction...

The seedling of Love...

Sprouts of passion...

Questions and actions grow...

"Do you like me?"

"I like you"

"Do you want to go out?"

"I want to be with you"

The stem of a relationship takes form and from it the leaves of happiness, comfort, and joy spring forth...

Just a seedling you may say, but from it something glorious will take shape...

Upon the horrizon gusts form and may bring about stormy weather

Fights and arguments...

Disagreements and oppinions...

Angry words and disloyalty...

All this may strain the stem like a strong wind blowing violently...

Yet from the core love is found and is unbreakable...

The foundation remains strong...

Sometimes the winds damage the structure of the stem and love has trouble blooming fully...

Yet all know it is still there...

For if not, the flower would be gone...

Washed away in the turmoil of the gale.

Yet through all this, still to come, is the blossoming of something magical and breath taking.

A bud takes shape and color...

The first signs of a love ever soo strong and deep.

Petals pull away and bloom in the bright light of each others hearts...

Stretching and reaching out as if to pull their desires in close and hold them tightly.

In full bloom now the flower is grand and wonderful...

It may wither in time, but it's passion remains the same.

The flower takes shape, is deeply rooted, and will fight to keep it's hold through any foul weather.

Yes sometimes even the strength of the flower weakens and the stem breaks...

But the roots and seeds remain...

Dig them up you say?

Set them on fire and cast away the ashes?

Do so...

Please...

Now watch as those ashes return to fuel a stronger love...

Perhaps it is gone to some extent, but those ashes remain to give strength to the seeds left behind.

The cycle starting over once again...

Gently exposed, quite like a flower, the way you have this written. Gives me a bit of hope for love and its true existence. It truly isn't just a dream or a fairy tale. Excellent. Thank you.
