You simply don't understand
That these methods of persuasion
Telegraph your intent,
Pacing back and forth
Between breadcumbs and throwing spikes,
Dragging a vacant leash
Once tethered to some poor soul
Who ran themself to death.

It always starts with small animals
And escalates to larger prey.
