Bound by body and soul…
We live our lives apart…
Yet bound by similarities which brush the depths of our entire existence.
Where are we in our journeys?
Our paths dictate where we have been and foretell the next step.
Yet we are still blind to the next step.
It just happens without us ever being conscious of it.
Thos steps carry us forward blindly to our final destinations.
Only one question lingers.
It burns it’s essence into the fabric of space.
Of my space…
Not that space…
MY space.
My universe.
My existence.
The question just is.
It forces an answer which I can not give.
The question stands alone in my mind…
Like a stranger alone in the void of space.
Just there…
Focused.
Singular.
Polarized and pointing.
Focusing it’s energies in the path ahead.
Is she the one?
Every tiny detail and connection we share points to her completing me in my entirety.
She herself sees something too.
What she sees I may never know.
The possibility of this tears my heart in two.
It brings my hopes and dreams to a pinnacle point in my throat that can never be swallowed.
The fear of choking rises up and terror sets in...
Terror of losing the chance at the gift of infinite and eternal happiness…
It eats at me and burns itself into my flesh.
No wait…
That was the cigarette still clutched tightly in my hand that I forgot I had.
Lost in thought of what is happening I lost where I am for a moment.
I beg the stars to let her show me the way.
If even the error of my way.
Let it be finalized and true.
Pure and forever.
Don’t make me wait any longer.
I am at the brink of living my greatest dream…
One in which I have dedicated my entire life for.
Will I realize it or lose it?
Only she can say…
Perhaps not now…
But someday.
Either way the disclaimer to be noted is that the loss of one dream can potentially open the doors to others.
But is it worth sacrificing that dream to the life-force of the others?
Ethical?
Moral?
Nothing?
Or everything?
I am left with only one thought.
One singular simple truth to all I know, feel, and believe…
Jill I am falling for you and I know why…
Love is the key.
It is our…
Connection.
