look unto me
I am but a man
tattered rags are my clothes
I've seen things in my time

hatered and compassion
I know too well the two
I may look like a homeless man
but my wisdom is what you seek
for I've seen things in my time

ask me what troubles you
an answer I shall give
my divine kindness I shed unto you
I've seen things in my time

you meerly ignore me
I do not seek a friend
tell me I'm a wise man
as you toss me some change
but know that you're young
I've seen things in my time
