In order to live
our hearts must bleed
mine drips for the darkest angel

Do you doubt the taste of sorrow?

Scarlet and black will always make the latter
I painted my world nonetheless
and prayed for some shade of red

Tracing your portrait in the lonely shade of darkness
standing in my own shadow,
hope encompasses insanity alone

The veins of this colorblind poet
will always bleed ink

When "I miss you"s on every canvas
still cannot capture these feelings
a tear is worth one thousand pictures

What's a dead body worth?
everything when it's my own

You were everything

Do you doubt the taste of sorrow?

"In order to live our hearts must bleed" such a true statement. and the question your asking is so hard to face. because for those of us who've tasted sorrow at its worse we know that bitterness that's stays stuck inside our throats. you amaze me.

another beautiful piece.. and the title just captures the reader and the poem forms into something extravagant nonetheless.

beautiful. the only advice i have for you is to fix up this one stanza--the one that begins 'now living'...it just didn't seem to fit quite right to me. if you don't mind cristism. the rest, my darling, was astounding! ~lauren~

Yes I'm not one for hyperbole but I love you, you little tinker, you deliciously verdant rolling Spring-kissing corpse licking son-of-a gun. Oh by the way, the poem was ok....HA HA HA!!! Sorry about that.
