This grey skin
Spreading over
Changing what is supposed to be soft
Into sheets of armor

Appearing to necrotise
Left to numbing

I cut it off
Over and over
Diving down into my flesh
Cleaving it off like it was a parasite

I dont even get to see blood
As it cracks and peels off in the dry heat

I don't this about many, but yourse was done well enough: THis was mind boggling. I cannot believe the grasp it had on my mind, making me want to leap through the screen and clutch each word close to my heart. Perfection.
