Let me tell you a story
About a man
Who smacked a girl around
Blood always slipped and dripped from her nostrils
Used to have bruises on her cheeks and other places
She also used to get raped
Never said much to her that he didnt express with his body
She used to run to school to be all alone
At least lonliness took the pain away for a little while
Everyone looks away ignoring her
Making her turn the other blood shot cheek
To her own father
Leading us to the woman she became
Laying her body back
To feel loved the way her father used to
Telling herself this is what she wants
The only way to feel love
Not knowing why she cries herself to sleep
When she has someone who loves her so much
She continues with her life this way
Never breaking away from she was taught
Not allowed to think passed what life taught her
No one loves you unless you give them your body
Selling your soul away day by day
Till nothing is left but a hollow husk
That sniffs their way into a slow trickle from the nose
And opens their own body near the palms
Restful solution to a life of pain and suffering
All because of what her father taught her at the start of life
