The wind is cold as it bites off a small part of emotion
Frozen inside the ice-turned veins of liquid coolant
And in icebergs of dispassionate apathy
The polar eclipse provides
Shadow-warmth laced in agony

(A didactic snow-bound essay)

In the manufactured masochistic monotony
Of a sun-drenched desiccated wasteland
Among the cactus spines and sandstorm whipped thought process
The desert parchments found reveal
Heatstroke heartache and dehydrated daydreams

( The proclamations of Ra do so dictate)

A caustic release of an acidic microchasm
A stomata’s last exhalation, of a hundred wilted roses
Into a carbon-dioxide fueled hallucination of mescaline visions
The photosynthetic modus operandi causes
A maudlin parable of disjointed ideas

(Flowerbeds of misguided trenchant tenets)

Crimson vision of molten anger boiling bright
Into an ash-ridden eruption of a superfluous magma-tide
While fire-splashes of rockslide debris
Rains down upon glass-sided skyscrapers
With a musical tinkle like teardrops on a one-way mirror

(A volcanic overdose of oppression)

Holocaustic holy crusades of a nuclear winter-storm
And radiation plastered charred remains
Of a strip-mined lavish jungle parchment farm provide
The tinder spark of dried-out Giant Sequoias
Which feed the flames to ignite...

by your pen, destruction by man yields to rebirth by nature; a promise like a rainbow and your words as colorful as such. it took me so long to comment Josh, for I had missed the forest for the trees. *blush* ~pf

.mymymy...this is powerfully.poetically.entrancing, with such intelligence incarnate bleeding throughout and inbetween the useage of such magnetically.spinning.language. and the ending...truly...a muchly appreciated read.

Volcanic overdose of oppression.. more like a volcanic overdose of intelligence or inspiration. This is lovely, you're lovely. Incredible choice of words and usage. -Cor
