Judge me, hollow demon
How does it feel to be heartless, with a paste-on smile?
The joyful taste of inconsistent imageries linger on your breath
You crucified my desire, with your vehement denial
While following your canonized creed, full of overt plagiaries

Continue to forsake me sweet angel, your halo is burning
Swinging a verbose sword, tainted by a martyr’s blood…

Oh, how I would love to hate you - killer of my dreams
Sovereign Savior of Fools
Eternity lasts far too long to keep a lover in my nightmares

So you remain unscathed, a succubus of my succulent flesh
Devourer of my decomposed wishes
Heaven has locked you out
Sweet harlot from heaven, you’ve fallen from grace
To be the lustful love of my life
And the tragic taste of my sweetest enemy…

You have become my arch-nemesis, the quick paralysis
The every drawn breath that suffocates my ascension
My contention for godliness
The lasting asphyxiation

Oh, how I would hate to love you
You battle against my beatification
For you, sainthood is such a step below
Too bad your flock will not follow
Shepherdess of shadows…

The bleeding hearts still bleed me dry
While you violate my sanctity, the sweet sacrilege
Discarded Seraph sent from the most holy of hells

Still the emptiness threatens to consume me
My inner-fire snuffed and blackened
Until the ashes are swept into a forgotten corner
The few pale embers cast in to the void
My last reverie was challenged by a tinge of madness…

You are the requiem for the darkest plague
Orchestrating the elegy of my doom
All empathy was fueled by regret

Though the phoenix will rise from my scattered ashes
Ethereal spirit clutched within his talons
Until then, this I command…

Drink of my tears, bathe in the essence
Until rapture steals your last breath
Close your eyes
Sleep forever…

..Queen Nothing..

my comments on this piece could hardly fit within this damn little box; it screams with emotion, pierces the brain with imagery, wounds the heart with raw candor; it's power is quite chilling too...

for i could surely never hate an angel, even lest she fall! i would be able to forgive regardless? your demon seraph that haunts you though--could prove a siren during a dark night of the soul, even to me at the mercy of your pen.

fucking powerful stuff Josh, the kind of thing that devours my soul when I slip into my Darkness...indulging sin feels oh so sweet at the time, but at what price? for her, for me? *shrug* ~pf
