Created Holy, untouched by the sins of man, a fresh bloom awakens
Beneath the eyes of Heaven, a creature allowed no worship
Touching the skies, to rearrange the stars in a prayer
She unfurls her wings of six to soar
As a caretaker
As a cleanser

One Hundred and ninety-six times referred, again the same forgotten
Intended for a purpose, slid beneath the covering clouds
Unobtrusive, yet divine in nature
She wreathes herself in flames
As a watcher
As a way finder

Messanger of miracles, Hast thou come in peace?
To render judgement, or to augment a cause?
In reverence, I subjagate myself to your whims
She smiles a forgotten secret
As a reminder
As a recourse

The host to guide into warfare, of the spiritual measure
Chronicler of the heart of mine empire
A beauty refreshed through the decline of time
she beckons a call to arms
As a paradigm
As a pleasure

Bathed in possession, enthralled by perfection
Myriad futures revealed, myriad pasts lived
The knowledge of having Existed
She unfolds a plan for redemption
As a helper
As a heroine

Tribulation of hearts and minds, She speaks through the Metatron
"To worship me is forbidden, I disdain false idalotry
Away from your knees, I shall permit one kiss."
She sensually lifts my face
As a grace
As a goddess

Awakened from memories persisted, awakened from reverie
The dawning of realization, transistion from falsehoods
An aura of clairvoyance white
She trembles from the mortal touch
As a lore
As a lover

Oblivion sinks towards a spiral of darkness, created by one unnamed
The covenants broken in a tryst of faith
The seraph cast into the fiery lake
She defiantly casts her gaze
As a free angel
As a fallen one

an enchanting story, the idea of giving in to human temptation, which is not necessarily a sinful act, it is natural and beautiful and passionate.

The worship of angels is a sinful act, tough. They were created to be more than man, yet still in service of god. her 'sin' was in allowing the worship

only actually a sinful act if one believes in God, angels and sin; possibly percieved as though, through mythological means by a complete unbeliever too. but the passion of this observation would fool me if the latter.~pf

exactly what makes it so different than just a bunch of pretty words arranged nicely on a page...it gets inside the old brain and makes you think, a true delight! a naughty angel! what more can i ask for!!

and the worship of any figure/symbol, or any one being with complete power over man is condemned, though sometimes I see human indulgence as fundamental and unchangeable.. this piece has a compelling message.

this whole thing keeps making me think of Tori Amos' "Bliss": "...made of you, but not enough for you" which is something i have yet to figure out, so this is a scruptious catalyst for something already of interest to me! ~pf
