In the darkness I can see it
Pain, misery, dread
I know what it is
There is no way to escape it
No matter how fast you run
No matter how hard you scream
It will always find you
It has no remorse for what it does
It makes some blissful, makes others miserable
It is different for everyone
Its always there no matter how hard you try to hide
It will always find you
I want to escape it
I want to make it go away
It never seems to help me
It makes my life a living hell
Maybe I could find a way to defeat it
Maybe I will be able to hide
Theres no use for maybe’s
No use for worthless wishes
No matter what fate always finds its victims
It always finds me
