Its ten o’clock where are you
You were suppose to be here at eight
Its not like you to be late
I begin to think back on the last thing I said
I told you if you stood me up again it was over
I guess you want this to end
Im pissed now and full of rage
I call your phone its your voicemail again
I tell you that if you don’t call me im gonna kill you
I don’t mean it I really just love you
I look out the window at the passing cars
Its hard to see through the rain
I begin to get nervous
What if something happened
What if you had a wreck
I push it out of my mind
I call your phone again no answer
Its now eleven still no word
The phone rings I don’t know that number
I answer its your mother
She tells me there has been an accident
She says I need to get to the hospital
I race to the car everything moving slowly
Im going eighty but I cant seem to get there
At last I see your mother tears streaming down her face
I start walking closer I can see something is wrong
She grabs me and holds me tight
She tells me how much you loved me
She tells me how much I really meant to you
Then she tells me your dead
I fall to the ground screaming wanting to die
She tells me why you were late
She hands me a box with a ring inside
She said that you were going to ask me to marry you
How am I going to live without you
How can I make it through tomorrow
I cant watch them lower you into the ground
I need you so much I love you.
