A work inspired by g.host

White rose deceptive to sequential shade

I ventured in the nightscape; electrons heavy
as a ghost in the quantum light

illuminated by one dark eye; slant-deranged

girl's lonely cries; do you sleep in safekeep?
Ignorant to the tumult of your torsion of dreams

measuring what passage of time
we pursue; deft to sleep, seeking

heat, like phosphorence, incandescence - atoms breaking
into phantom retreat. I love you as a ghost,

secret whispers....carry me - I am by your side. Trail me like silk sheets.
Kinetic bound, alive
as far as my mind will let me see.

Table's set and the candle's lonely sway will
catch the cold of the wind tonight.

Whose to say they're not registered on the barometer
right now; the fibre-switch in the walls insulation
the energy in a spark plug's squat mind
that chill on the nape of your neck when
you wait for that lost lover to walk through the door

life's fissions in the nuclear's reactor

clearing the land of false gods and empty prophets.
A cloud of plasma in the bloodstream; the test tube
                    experiment of a haunted love.

I saw a ghost tonight. It offered me the way to live.
The mirror broke.
I stared, just for a while.

There was no reflection.

good merciful heavens, col [and starting with alanarchy too!]... off the top of your noggin?!??! you paranormal philosophical phrasemonger. . .. this is both cryptic and caressing. .. "girl's lonely cries; do you sleep in safekeep?" made me shiver and send forth prayers. .and that elegiac tone, that end...reflective of something horrific but somehow also hoping. . .hoping for light to illumiante the darker corners, the darkest souls. . .the ghosts of what we could be, staring back at us from tomorrow---how is it you can find a way to write both seductive and serrated simultaneously?? egads, "carry me - I am by your side."...a voice like a whip that cracks with a wishful inking, a tattoo of hushed words. .. . mon dieu~~ i jsut sit tight and let these words of yours possess, and roll through......

Some of your lines hit so good, on some creative level, I feel sometimes, like I'm watching Jimmy Hendrix work the scales. Always amazing.
