Nite caress this moonfire; new epochs
born inside old eyes. See me unfold your mind
like wings
                 of a butterfly.

Breathe each colour now just to feel freedom

strange shapes melting in acid rain, sky replicates fate
we could go on,
                         forever, like this
tucked in the templates of our dreams
in amongst extremity rays, sun rakes the dawn.
We shake off plaintive fevers
follow the planar path of morning song
like soft-limbed renegades; we don't care to belong.
The clock means nothing to us; tick out my heart, my time

we are keepers of our own reckless, ripsaw destiny
eyes that catch reflections of a sky as a fury
tearing down the dullest minutes to walls of sweet fire &
blue herald of a cathartic blaze. Dare our souls to sizzle
in the beauty of the flames.

Are you the firedancer? Caught your gleam inside a glitter-kiss,
a flicker of sensation in the salamander's eye -
             come burn with me

move as perfect as the formation of the flames.
I know you as subliminal rhythm; Shaman-trailblazer - savour
the sweet taste of oblivion; burnin' in a ripple of ecstasy
lush-nite yearning
caught in the fire as one

cleansing all our pains: firedancer

come dream with me. Burn my hate;
set me to the fire and let me be free

beautiful - melted and fused my heart, body, and soul -strange shapes melting in acid rain, sky replicates fate we could go on, forever, like this tucked in the templates of our dreams" - magically profound. Thank you for yet another great work.

I feel ten feet tall after reading this. "tearing down the dullest minutes to walls of sweet fire & blue herald of a cathartic blaze. Dare our souls to sizzle in the beauty of the flames." It has an energy to it that's contagious. "cathartic" damn right. Brilliant work, big dog.

This rocks. Rocks and rules. Loved it from beginning to end; with particular kudos for this line - "we are keepers of our own reckless, ripsaw destiny" - because that's just damn fabulous. The concluding three line also shake my little world. Excellently done, sir, excellently done.

I'm the Firedancer, twisted Firedancer! Seriously, though..Sweet, reflective reverance shines bright in this peace. Aimee plays a beautiful muse for this piece, a muse you might have thought you would never find. Such giddy heights, such gorgeous poetry..Bloody brilliant stuff :)

EGADS. . .an inferno of desire with the aortic pulse of a deafening sound[mind and body].. ..these lines behave as pulsorypoints; they move, breathe and slip down a supine spine at your command, at your whim. ..all the voluptuous vocabulary and the flamelicking tongues of babylon. ..this rhythm youve found rises and falls with empires; a love, a passion, and an existence of souls without bounds. dont mind if i click this, do you? most euphoric indeed. ..dizzy me. [[even the sideways glancing lines beg a full.length body view. ..]]. .. "see me unfold your mind like wings of a butterly" (that might spawn a poem itself) and that closing couplet. ..

On Saturday June 21st, 2008, saintedmad (1172) writes:
closing couplet just begs attrition; free? from hate...as if love itself could assuage, could cauterize any wounds, black or otherwise. .. could make your ashes holy. ... mon dieu, what a loverly prayerful pleaful paring/pairing of souls' purification.... m mm .
