Black again with wanting words to fill up these feelings
Fingers hold down the chords of my heart
Sustaining echoes of starlight
My sighs whisper
“What if nothing is next?’
She said.
Is anything worth the life of what is left?
I don’t believe you would want to know
“I could never know.”
I said.
My heart beat delays to the timing of the world’s end
A lifetime to live
As the fire rains down from the skies
White heat burns all our veins away
In the flash of the night sky
What looks like a ring
Crashes into this sphere
Heaven afar comes near
Beckoning to the last souls
“Become right with yourself young soul.
Lest judgment strip you of your innocence.”

Black as the night I stare
To the sky and the stars
Millions of miles away
When will you fall on me?
I want the world to end in calamity
