Deep neutral tones run through the pores of the earth
The shinning sun only lightens their colors
To a more acceptable mood
Yet the violets of infinite space
Draw so near to mars black
That our pale faces recede to believe
Random nothingness is not good at all

So high in turquoise skies
All the foliage looks green as pine
Under the colorless clouds
Which seem to play tag across the globe
Scattered white poka dots
above barren beige deserts
Dressed up with transparent winds
Swirling hard yellows high in the sky
Lifting moisture to evaporating heights
So God my collect his random molecules
Left warmed by us
Through this orange flame of fire
To which we all conspire
Flickers of the truth

Another blue rainbow begins to fall
Refracting itself…
..Nothing at all
But gray skies of clouds submerged
In dull and weary sins
Begging to be washed clean
Or at least desiring to dull these scarlet emotions
To a more loving shade of pink
Well I think I could tell you more…

Only the oceans reveal the shadows’ depth
Where the tone reaches what is left
Alone in the bleak darkness
Of the black hearts of time
Only the brown leafs of season’s sign
Reach the start of the mirrors true rhyme

I agree with NArcissa. The poem pretty much speaks for itself but, I think it could use a better title. ][ ][

I disagree. I think the title is perfect.

This is gorgeous, effortless, and outspoken poetry. It definitely leaves a mark.
