I heard her voice crackling on the other line
She tried her hardest to tell me she was fine
Swallowing back tears, confessing fears
Some how she made me see crystal clear

She told me of childhood memories
How they cause self inflicted brutalities
She was degraded and down graded
Abused and jaded

How was it I could make her see?
That everything she explained was me
The love for the cutting, bleeding and pain
Being forced to have love through out the rain

Then the phone call ended with a quick good bye
I stopped, took a deep breath, and tried not to cry
She promised to call me tomorrow
Please don’t let this end in some type of sorrow
