Awaiting something that may never come
Lost inside the loving words you speak
Holding conversations in high regard
Will I ever get the chance
To prove to you
What I am
All that I can be
Speaking words that I never thought
I would again be able to say
But to you the words flow
So freely
Feeling a feeling
Something so right
But the light
Is so far from sight
I wish I could tell you
I need you
I wish I could confess
How much I cant live with out you
But for now I will linger
In the shadows
Till the day you tell me
It is time to speak
Maybe even act
Upon the dreams that I feel are real
Maybe one day I will be able
To wake up with you
And know that my life
Is forever complete
And my one true fear
Of dying alone has ceased
What ever comes from this
Please know I love you
And as days go by
The feeling only consumes
Everything that I am even more
