You say
"I love my sneakers"

And make me think

You love
Your sneakers...

So, please...

Show me the letters
You write to your sneakers

Show me the songs
You sing for your sneakers

Show me the poems
You compose about your sneakers

Show me the paintings
You made of your sneakers

Tell me
How your sneakers make you feel warm
How they make you feel lucky, your sneakers

Tell me
How many nights you spend looking at the stars
Thinking at your sneakers

Tell me
How you would die for your sneakers
How you would go through hell for them.

And, please
Don't mind
If I will laugh.

Us boys are funny creatures sometimes, I know there was a serious side to this, but I did enjoy the humorous - mere male take.
