So many things I wish I could do
So many things I wish I could say
So many places I wish I could go
So many people have gone away

The world spins
Never stops turning
While I’m standing still

Never moving
People live whole lives before me
While I’m standing still

Feeling like I’ve atrophied
Blood screams in my veins
and in my brain
To get up
To move
To make things right
But I’m just standing still
