You are the nightmare I have dreaded
You are all the broken promises
Swimming in my head
You are everything I never wanted for myself
You are the destruction you always wanted to be
The destruction
Of me

You have made yourself
Everything you wanted to be
Everything you said you didn’t want to be for me

You are my hate
You are my tears
You are the dripping lines of blood
You are the scars
Shiny on my skin
You are the fire in my heart
Everything you planned to break
You broke
In me
