this is just another failed attempt
of getting attention
and the mirror shatters as i look at it
and the door slams as i leave it
and the car peels out as i drive it

anger in self mutilation
tattoos of a past life
ink and needles
thousands of holes and wounds
big enough to bleed the soul

this is just another failed attempt

of salvation.
and i sit in the chair again
to get my last euphoria trip...
