inexplainable beauty and verbose memories
apathetic ephemera -
you cried for release that night.

and i am torpid in the wake of a tide of seagulls
forsaken and malcontent she fell defeated in wait
a heartbeat to rapid gunfire
and stagnant tears to letters inked in blood:
it's all just fucking fun and games, isn't it?

progression backfired in the faces of Medusa
crawling to a shackled land of Nod clutching regrets in a syringe
sporadic injections are all a harridan needs when the sky comes to a close
and stars are nothing but chalk ablaze on a 360 degree canvas
a megalomaniac and a masochist in a lair of paper and feathers
you killed to write.

sagacious and sapient - i am overlooked as an area of gray
paved with statues of flames and whimsical machinery
a secondary Houdini crouching to the Gods
i am doomed to weep the naked truth in black comatoses on a stage of pixies.

without an audience.

black chasm of thoughts seem burst force here with surreal energy and a cacophony of clever language and originality.....the standard high as one would expect, excellent poem.
