In the hollow darkness
I tumble 'round
banging, hanging in obscurity

Singular motion from crown to crown
developing atrosity

Aging decay and reckless abandon
for little more than silent death

Severed from the carrier host

animated no more

Dead inside this leather face
familiar streams of unconciousness

The deja vu is relentless pain

I slurry around this prison space
delivered to my resting place
by the hand of nevermore,

rotten to the core

Locked in this head case.

oh..i didn't get it first time either (Duh!) -but on reflection it's pretty clever, kind of funny (in a twisted, macabre way) and pretty awesome too. 'Head Case'... yes, excellent

Hehe..now I get it =) Brilliant, brilliant piece. I never thought I'd be empathising with a decapitated head in a leather case. Fucking rotten? Fucking love it! -Carl

What a fucking great title. I'm not just praising the title, the poem kicked my ass too. But I can almost see you putting your head in a hat box, and tying it with a belt. Fucking crazy, man.
