Today
Time could melt away
Loved and sure of my will
In a way

Today
I'd ask the sun to stay the night
But this love could never stay
The beast must feed
Make room for the impending sorrow
That is tomorrow

Today
I bask in the sun setting lights
Waving... wavering
Dusk will surely take it all soon
For after every darkness
Comes mourning
Tomorrow
