As we sit here
holding our tattered hands
I wonder what you did wrong to deserve this,
as our eyes flood our faces,
I can not think straight,
This time it was different
like nothing that could ever have been promised,
now as you slowly die,
I remember this step,
you are not the last to leave
those horrible footsteps across my breast,
I've learned to say Hello,
yet the Good bye's always seem
to get stuck in my chest
as the time grows near
I start to breathe Ice,
not wanting this pain
that bleeds in my veins,
your not even gone and I miss you so much...
Now the bird chimes from the witches tower
and they sing
our last hour....
