They say if you store anger
You’ll pop like a balloon
But I wonder why store what has passed
Why take in yesterday’s pain
With that of today’s throwing in what has not yet came?
They say learning the hard way
Is the best that there is
But I go threw it so you don’t see
This horrible world
We call home
Minute but minute
Hour by hour
Day by day
Let the pain come
But once it’s done
Let it go
What good would it do?
To hold on to the past?
And worry about the future
Which has not yet come to pass?
Remember the past I’m not saying forget
That’s all that’s to it
As simple as that…

I love this. If I would have held on to the past, I wouldn't be who I am today. Excellent write!
