im sitting on impatience;
seated on pins and needles of cliches--
awaiting another 'youre so much better than them'/

its so hard to see it
-without a focused belief to spare

[ive got two empty pockets
and a full heart to spend]

im that stepping stone
that took you to better things.
--that 'welcome[ing]' doormat
to your dwelling ground
of miracles and fake smiles.

this is more than you ever wanted...
so take whats left of nothing--

and kiss her once for me.

[it ended the way it began-
with nothing...

and even though we live
the same moments at the same time-
it will never be the same]

this piece in particular. . really speaks to me. honestly, I know this. I know this well, as you can tell in my later poems. This feeling sucks, but you've taken your amazing way with words. . and made this hurt appear so beautiful..

Fantastic write... some of those lines, like "ive got two empty pockets and a full heart to spend]"... I could totally hear someone like Janis Joplin belting that out. Awesome as always Twi.

without feeling that I need to leave feedback,to make the poet feel that thier work is worth something.I know,as such that isn't the case with you,but..this is worth more than anything I could put into words.

On Wednesday February 2nd, 2005, Railway_Butterfly (477) writes:
People like me,aren't meant to read poetry like this, like this..I should read all my poetry from books.Without knowing anything of the author.Then..I can peacefully be moved by what I read,in whatever way I chose to be..
