a place beyond reflection
blissful sunsets and skyscapes
to your right-imagination
to your left-lies fantasy beyond the minds eye
extracting pleasure from every pore
thoughtful and thoughtless all at once
all flawless dreams come to life
now the stars burn like exploding sapphires
at night the angels sing in entrancing tones
a place where passion reigns
full of soft kisses and new beginnings
embraces full of eternity
heartache dismissed-elation retrieved
the perpetual rapture-a tears demise
a new moon now has risen
the dawning utopia rising
here lies fate and faith[hand in hand]
love amd lust[from lips to lips]
sighs and ecstasy[never forgotten]
and another journey
the midnight shatters
leaving flecks of mysterious light
now take my hand
believe my words
the night still sighs
as sweet lullabies prevail
an enigmatic longing so pure
goodnight

Twilight, this is fantastic. I thought some of your newer writings have been pretty good, but this one really stands out. Most poetry on here isn't strong enough to sway my emotions, but this one definately left me smiling.

Your positive thoughts and choice of words painted a picture of fantasy so real that it seems obtainable. The last line "goodnight" really helped close the feeling as if it's the ending to a great story. There is no doubt that this is a favorite of mine.
