i can feel the pain
waiting in my wake
here it comes again
another beautiful mistake
the smell in the air
the desire burning hot and deep
thoughts creeping through my mind
another night without sleep
thinking of the lips
thinking of the smile
trusting every word they say
trusting my denial
ignoring every sign
passing through every lie
touching every moment with guilt
screaming at the sky
