I feel your pain
as you sit there
alone
       hurt
            afraid
and beguiled by life

falling short of perfection
as you scribble your life stories
on some crumpled piece of paper
praying for an angel
or at least an outlet

i wish i could give you my love in a jar
then maybe you could understand
my infatuation for you
as it struggled to be loosed
free to love

I want so bad to take your pain
to give you a chance at simplicity
or at least a reality not so harsh to the eyes

then at least you could see me clearly...

gentle and lovely sentiments and feelings... it pulls at the heart in a soft and sighing way...
