Missing Person

~ Kytin ~

Never having met, I feel as if I have known you for years. The smile in your eyes that shines through your solemn face. The silk that my hands wish to run through, being the lustorous locks on your head. I have never heard your voice, but sense it is like the sweetest honey mead. I have seen you in dreams even before I saw your picture. In my mind I can feel your calloused fingers running over my skin. Not knowing is worse torture than losing a sense and re-learning to live day to day. One day, I pray, we shall meet. 'Twill be as an angel coming home to Heaven. Many a night have I lain alone in bed and felt your strong arms encircle me. For never having met, I miss you so.
