"When She Cries" by Kytin

When she cries her heart out
you don’t hear her silent tears.

Once she came to you
seeking love and forgiveness.
You harshly and
callously turned away.

When she speaks, you only
hear wispered words carried by the wind.

Now she never speaks,
nor does she weep.
For she gave up and
silently you killed her.

The world no longer hears her
whispered words, nor her hearty
laughter. Now she is sustained
in a world of her fantisies.

The time for this world
is running out. She counts
the hours, awaiting her death.

This, loved ones, this is her
newest hell. Her sadness is
deep and my sorrow is deeper.

Time is all that will heal her wounds,
wounds caused by reality. Now she cries
for all she has lost and all she has never known.

Time does not exist in fantisy so she should heal.
But I fear she shall not, for she died emotionally
many, many years past. She now lives only to
wait for the day her body dies.

Tears burn, the lump remains... as you have just captured all of my pains. This is absolutely amazing! You have stirred the depths of my soul with this piece... causing me to regret that I've stayed away from DP for so long!
