I just sit there and stare,
my mouth open in suprise.
I can't believe what you just said,
it must all be lies.

You shake me,
I stir.
You say it again,
I simply ask,
"Are you sure?"

"Of coarse,with all my heart."
was your simple reply.
If my heart could have been
any lighter I surely would have
floated into the sky.

I smiled and stared as your ring
encircled my finger.
I was laughing and giggling as it
slipped off again.

"It doesn't seem to like me."
"We shall have it resized."

There was an inscription of two lines so true.

"I'll love you forever and a day,
forever and always I shall stay."

~Jennifer
