  laughing at me
the porn smiled a sweet seduction
that cut the throat dry
of a loneliness that
left the money spent
empty enough to ask me
for a reason as to, "Why?"

  holding on to that one thing
that was close to me
I turned the stones upside down
only to find a frog
kissing a Princess on the cheek;
I guess fairy tale endings
never happen to me?

  It's all I've ever asked for
to be loved by a real love
that never let you down
but tranquility has a way of
finding your deepest wounds
and forcing them back
to bleed through your eyes.

  silence echoed as the infection
of a cruel kiss from
an Angel above that glowed bright around me
I almost believed in miracles
come true tonight because
