  your perfume smiled at me
as I said, "Hello."
I waited for a reaction
but it grew distant;
deep into the coldness that
tore my heart in two.

"Calamity James" I thought I just met
with the blank stare and the
ice cold hardened heart that
chipped the stone away.

it grew into the madness I tell you
your liquid ruby red lips
that drew me closer to a dream
of a perfection of a seduction
that left lust standing in awe of me.

tainted love found me a lover I think
who drank the pain away just like me
dripped knee deep in fixation
we tried to cherrish memories that turned the
photo album into a multi media of sorts.

  your perfume smiled at me
as I said, "Goodbye."
and I took a second glance to see if
you looked back at me
but all I got was
a motion served without a purpose
and I cried a tear of a sorrow
as I walked away into the
golden full moon that laughed at me tonight.
