  look babe
deep into the blue
of my eyes
that tried not to cry a tear
of a fear that
love only lasted
past that wish that
brought me to my knees tonight.

  right in between my heart
the blade stabbed
a wound that was left for dead
and once again I played that
Country Song that lasted longer
than the dance intended.

I know that we pretended that
we could fall in love forever
but just as I drank a love away
I remembered a thought that
I think I should share with you.

  Angels never cried for me
like you cried
even though I tried to
live without the sin entering in my heart
as the torture was disturbing enough
just like the blood ran down my cheek
from a Death of a wound
that could never forgive me
as it sank right
in between my heart tonight.

 I almost believed that
love could find someone like me
that never deserved it anyway
but Fate has a way of
shoving dreams down your throat
so I take another drink and a smoke to try
to fall in love with a wish come true.
