  lyrics come and go
but words to the soul
capture pictures painted on a wall
that make you proud
to express the release of
an inner thought
that screams into a smile
just to be awakened.

  pretend or fake
I'll choose righteousness everytime
of that which caused the heart to bleed
of a need of a fix almost redeemed
of a purity lost that
slipped through the cries of
my Angels above
that only circled around me
because my sadness
destroyed my Faith.

and into expression of how I feel
I write my emotions into
curses and blurs
(sometimes I am the only one
who understands them)
but I always tell you the truth
of an injection led to an infection
or an addiction of a memory lost
either way I print my words in
my own blood of a slayed heart
that just asks to be heard.

and yes I think I am
the author of insanity
just because I open the window
of the frame of your mind
which tonight caused you to think
of a reason as to why
the flowers only grow
over my grave.

but you know the answer to the question
just like you know the results
never mend a second opinion
of a life left untold
of a new season of a new addiction
that caused the curses to blame
my flesh into the flames burning
of my Angels taking me away forever.
