(I guess this could also be a Country Song as well)

  I'm just plain tired.
of spending the nights alone.
listening to myself breathe.
as I fall asleep from.
the Alcohol of loneliness.
that never seems to end.
and only brings on a.
secret remedy for a morning after cure.
that never knew when.
to say, "enough is enough."

just like I poured my sorrow for myself.
so i listened to that.
favorite Country Song of mine.
you know the one about.
the guy losing his dog.
walking in on his wife cheating.
that caused him to.
go to his favorite bar stool in town.
because the only person who ever listened to him.
was the Bartender who.
kept serving him his medication of a broken heart.

  hearing that song, "Last Call"
the emptiness now begins to set in.
because I had to go back to.
my daily routine of.
an empty, cold, bed.
and falling asleep to wishful thinking.
and waking up with.
the after taste of Alcohol on my breath.

  looking in the mirror.
I held out my hands.
trying to catch the tears.
not just because the Country Song playing.
is singing about a broken heart.
but because it is the.
story of my life.

  and so once more.
I reach for the medication.
of my broken heart.
which I will remain nameless.
because I think you also know.
this feeling of a loneliness.
that you wish could die away.
just as much as I do.
even though we would never admit what it is.

:( I do...This reaches so much farther than alcohol alone...The end has just stunned me into silence
