  the enamel turned black today.
down to the very core.
that sold my Shrine.
to a local Drunk for a Penny.
that eventually got tossed.
onto the old dirt road.
that ended up nowhere important.

  my Karma set in.
spreading the infection.
of a love lost and forgotten.
that caused me to kill myself tonight.
because the emptiness.
screamed it's pain out loud.

and I heard God laugh at me.
because I was born.
to live and let die.
into a Blackness so thick.
that it wasted my life away.
down into something that.
turned ugly to everyone I knew.

  I just wished that.
the strings could fall off.
and let the noose disappear.
from my aching heart.
that has seen its.
fair share of pain.
only to cover me twofold.

"only to cover me twofold." Cracking ending to poem that's filled with despair but written with a great maturity. Excellent :) -Carl
