not everyone is suppose to smile.
especially when it's fake.
and i'll take the picture perfect pose
into a thousand frames
just to show you how sad i really am.
over a fake smile which
would only do injustice to you.
wiping the blood off my cheek.
from trying to protect my wounds
that could never accept me for
who i have become.
i washed off my blood stained hands.
and i soon realized that i was all....
alone.
so once again i try to cover up
the scars and bruises that
i have created for myself.
and i ask you, "why?";
"why can't i ever smile anymore?"
maybe it goes back to my child hood
memories that have disappeared
from me for some reason?
or maybe it is because
there is actually nothing really to smile at?
just open wounds. and past memories;
or lack there of.
with bits and pieces of a torn flesh.
that try to hold my heart together.
